Behind The Lyrics: Dear Mr. Potter

Another Short Behind the Lyrics.

I found my home that day

I found a spot I could consider home in the Harry Potter series, Hogwarts

I didn't know what may happen

I didn't know this was about to impact my life oh so much.

The train left as I wondered about

I wondered were the story was going.

Impacting my life.

The moment when I read the first book changed my life for the better.

So,

Dear Mr. Potter, I writing to give you my thanks

I really want to thank him and Jo

Dear Mr. Potter, I wonder if you'll reply

I wonder if she'll ever hear this song/letter

to my cries of joy and trimuph for being with you

And know I'm happy with the story and I'm changed because of it

till the very end.

I stuck with Harry, till the very end.

And that's behind the lyrics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fandom

I've been feeling a ton of Post-Potter Depression lately. It doesn't help I'm reading Harry, A History.

Behind the Lyrics

I as many of you know or maybe don't know, I'm a singer/songwriter! And I felt the need to explain my lyrics even if you haven't heard it. I just feel like it's right too.

Verse 1
Trying to See Blind while looking in the mirror

attempting to change my body while I am lying to myself about needing it.

Won't change the fact that I'm not who I'm suppose to be.

I'm not who society/my parents or who I want to be.

So many hearts all of them broken trying to tear at me.

People who are hurt that right hurt me.

The waves pull me down, but I stand my ground.

They try to pull me down with them but I will not let them

So there is the first edition of behind the lyrics!!!!!

Review: If I Stay by Gayle Forman

Different review style than my last post.

Summery:
In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen-year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces - to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heart-wrenchingly beautiful, Mia's story will stay with you for a long, long time.

REVIEW:
This book was so sad. Gayle Forman's style of writing is perfect for this charector.

Writing 9/10
Charectors 7/10
Setting 7/10
Cover 10/10

Overall 32/40

So I have one question for you would you stay or would you go?

On a personal note:

This one is so short because I can't say more about it. It's amazing and you have to just read it!

Book Review: Losing Faith by Denise Jaden

First off let me say this will be a lot of rambling and honestly this book is one of my favorites so if you don't read this book, I will have to come and force you too.

Summery:
A terrible secret. A terrible fate.
When Brie's sister, Faith, dies suddenly, Brie's world falls apart. As she goes through the bizarre and devastating process of mourning the sister she never understood and barely even liked, everything in her life seems to spiral farther and farther off course. Her parents are a mess, her friends don’t know how to treat her, and her perfect boyfriend suddenly seems anything but.

As Brie settles into her new normal, she encounters more questions than closure: Certain facts about the way Faith died just don't line up. Brie soon uncovers a dark and twisted secret about Faith’s final night...a secret that puts her own life in danger.

REVIEW:

This book was... WOW..

What did you think the book was about?
Love, Loss, and Faith

Did you feel that the book fulfilled your expectations? Were you disappointed?
YES!!! I was not disappointed at all.

Did the author seem to appear in the book? How? Why? Was the presence of the author disruptive? Or did it seem appropriate/fitting?
I htink she might have been in Pastor Scott, her presence was not disruptive, it was Appropriate and Fitting!

Did you enjoy the book? Why? Why not?
YES!!! I enjoyed it a lot. Why? Because it had all my favorite things about books: Mystery, Love, and Loss!

How did the book compare to other books by the author (or other books in the same genre)?
It is at the same ranking as Saving Zoe does!!!!!

What about the plot? Did it pull you in; or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book?
It pulled me in all right!

How realistic was the characterization? Would you want to meet any of the characters? Did you like them? Hate them?
I think I would love to meet all of them (mostly Tessa). I liked all of the and they were well devolped. Reena Scares me!!!

Did the actions of the characters seem plausible? Why? Why not?
Yes, even though I don't agree with the Live 4 Him, Die 4 Him part the actions seemed plausible.

If one (or more) of the characters made a choice that had moral implications, would you have made the same decision? Why? Why not?
No, I wouldn't have done that *shudders at thought of doing what Reena did*

Would you recommend this book to other readers? To your close friend?

YES OF COURSE!!! This book is amazing. Everyone who has read it loves it. The coolest thing it's a NaNoWriMo novel.
